The God\/Goddess in Me Knows!

There comes a point in nearly every woman's life when she realizes she has spent far too much time searching for answers outside herself.

She reads another book. Signs up for another course. Asks another friend for advice. Listens to another expert. None of these things are inherently wrong. Learning expands us, and wise teachers can illuminate the path ahead. But eventually we discover something surprising.

The answer we've been searching for isn't missing. It's waiting--waiting for us to become still enough to hear it. That realization is at the heart of my latest podcast episode, "The God/Goddess in Me Knows!"

We Live in an Age of Information

Never before have we had such immediate access to knowledge. Within seconds, we can search for answers, ask artificial intelligence to summarize complex ideas, or gather opinions from people around the world. Information has never been more abundant. Yet information and wisdom are not the same thing. Information tells us what has happened. Wisdom helps us discern what matters. Information fills the mind. Wisdom transforms the heart.

As remarkable as technology has become, it cannot replace the uniquely human qualities that guide us through life's most meaningful decisions. Compassion, discernment, forgiveness, intuition, and love are not products of computation. They are expressions of consciousness, cultivated through experience and deepened by reflection.

Remembering Rather Than Becoming

Much of personal development encourages us to become a better version of ourselves. There is value in growth, healing, and learning. Yet I have come to believe that transformation is often less about becoming someone new and more about remembering who we have always been beneath fear, conditioning, and self-doubt. Our intuition is not random. It is remembrance. Those moments when you simply know that a relationship has run its course, that a new opportunity is calling, or that it's time to forgive yourself are not accidents. They are reminders that a deeper wisdom has been quietly accompanying you all along.

The Gift of Being Human

As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, I find myself asking a different question. What does it mean to become more fully human?

Perhaps our greatest contribution isn't keeping pace with technology.

Perhaps it is cultivating the qualities that technology can never replace. Presence. Compassion. Kindness. Discernment. Joy. Faith.

The future will undoubtedly require innovation, but it will also require people who know how to listen deeply, love generously, and lead with wisdom. These are not outdated qualities. They are timeless ones.

A Practice for This Week

Before reaching for your phone each morning, spend just five quiet minutes with yourself. Take a few slow breaths. Then ask:

"What does the God/Goddess within me know today?"

Don't rush to answer. Simply listen. Over time, you may begin to notice that the voice you've been searching for has been speaking all along. It doesn't shout or demand attention. It whispers with clarity, inviting you to trust what you already know in your deepest self.

A Final Thought

The world will continue to change. Technology will become more sophisticated. The pace of life may even accelerate. But the deepest truths about being human remain unchanged.

Your capacity to love.

Your ability to forgive.

Your intuition.

Your resilience.

Your compassion.

These are sacred gifts.

They are not signs of weakness. They are the very qualities that connect us to one another and to the divine presence within us. Perhaps the greatest wisdom we can reclaim today is this:

We are not here to compete with machines. We are here to become more fully ourselves. And in remembering who we truly are, we discover that the wisdom we have been seeking has been quietly waiting within us all along.
